For years we were a retailer for wood cornices mass produced by a California fabricator. They were good quality, affordable, and looked nice…but then they were abruptly discontinued with no replacement in sight.

We sell lots of cornices! They are great for adding inexpensive charm and character to a room, specifically over sliding glass doors and large spans of glass. Our problem became the fact that nobody created a QUALITY wood cornice in attractive profiles on trend colors at affordable prices…so we created our own!

Luckily, we have skilled craftsman on our team, specifically when it comes to carpentry and finish work. We utilized these skills and some available extra space to create a cornice fabrication shop.

We now offer top quality custom wood cornices in two beautiful profiles in your choice of (6) rich stain colors or (3) classic paint colors. Fabricating our own products gives us full quality control and the ability to create exactly what our customers need. In addition, we can create custom profiles and custom color matches as required for a perfect and seamless transition to any decor.

We think so! They add surprisingly little to an overall project cost and can create a very special look in a room, even when added to low or moderately priced window covering products. Additionally, they work great for concealing large hardware (found on roller shades or pleated shades), out of square upper windows or trim, or to conceal drapery rods or vertical blind hardware.

Each cornice is made with clear Alder hardwood stock, custom milled to our specifications. All our custom wood cornices include a top dust cover to provide a clean and finished look to the top, and have hand applied finishes for a smooth, satin sheen.
